About Me

¡Hola! 

 

I'm a Spanish teacher and guidance counselor originally from Sevilla, Spain, but currently located in Mallorca. From the University of Sevilla, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Education. Afterwards, I also completed a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of Barcelona. 

 

In my professional career, I have many years of experience working with all types of students: elementary to secondary to adults, beginners to advanced language users. I have worked in educational counseling centers where I helped disadvantaged students achieve educational standards. I also have experience working in language academies, where I taught many adults who wanted to learn Spanish for business or for fun. In the last six years, I have worked in the international education industry for globally respected schools like SEK Budapest International School in Budapest, Hungary and the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Spain. Because it's fun and personalized, I now dedicate my time to teaching students online. 

 

I have a good level of English, which is useful for students who are beginning Spanish, and experience with an array of educational technology, which makes teaching and learning easy and fun. 

 

The greatest pleasures in my profession, apart from sharing my language and culture, are getting to know my students and watching them become comfortable users or expert speakers of the exciting Spanish language. I’m looking forward to doing the same with you!
